What are Temporary Orders?

One or both of the spouses may need court orders immediately after filing for the divorce to determine how the parties’ relationship with the children and/or finances will be handled until the divorce has been finalized. These Temporary Orders could include temporary alimony, child support, child custody, and provisions as to who pays what debts during the divorce process and/or who has the right to temporary use of the house and other community property.
